The first Gerit products date back more than 25 years, to when founder Fabrizio Merler first took an interest in pool massage systems. Driven by that passion and by decades of know-how, Gerit became one of the first companies in Italy to develop pool massage systems.

Fabrizio Merler realized that, with this long experience behind it, Gerit could bring a wave of innovation to the field of pool inlets and nozzles. Gerit’s first product was therefore a floor inlet, developed by gathering input from the trade to make its customers’ work easier.

The distinctive feature of this innovative product was that it could be fitted and solvent-welded directly onto the pipe once the building work was finished, thus avoiding problems with the building crews who so often disturb and damage the installer’s careful work. The solution allowed installers to work with complete peace of mind after the structural work was complete, achieving an end result that was functional, attractive and intelligent.

Following the same principle, Gerit went on to design a small nozzle for air massage.

This project is also being carried out in partnership with Noi Techpark in Bolzano, a technology innovation hub where products are tested and selected for potential funding from the Province of Bolzano.

Gerit water-air massage nozzles have been designed with a compact profile, a rough-textured base to improve the seal against the flat gasket, a water-stop ring, multiple lugs for different fixing methods, and many other features requested by professionals across the trade.

In addition, when these nozzles are used in a massage system, a single water distribution manifold can be sized and built directly beneath the nozzles themselves, according to the number of nozzles installed. In this way, the head losses of the system can be significantly reduced.

To install Gerit Air Nozzles, simply provide a Ø 32 PN 16 PVC pipe at each nozzle point. Once construction and finishing work is complete, the PVC pipe is cut flush with the floor and the nozzle, with its swivel sphere adaptor, is solvent-welded inside the pipe. This allows the nozzle to adapt to the slopes and any imperfections in the finish.
