GERIT CONDUCTIVE LEVEL SENSOR

Operating principle
The sensor works on the principle of electrical conductivity: the presence of liquid is detected when conductivity exceeds the minimum value of 150 µS/cm.
The circuit uses alternating voltage to prevent polarisation phenomena and eliminate electrolytic effects on the electrodes, ensuring stability and a long operating life.

Construction materials
• Sensor body: high-resistance technical plastic, suitable for permanently submerged installation
• Electrodes: AISI 316 stainless steel, corrosion-resistant in aquatic environments and treated pool water

Environmental and operating conditions
• Operating temperature: from 0 °C to +40 °C
• Protection rating: IP68 (permanently submerged use)
• Operating pressure: ambient pressure (sensor not intended for pressurised systems)

• Watertight 3-pole connection cable, suitable for immersion
• Available in versions with 10 m | 30 m cable

Applications
Connected to its control unit, the sensor manages minimum level control and operating level maintenance for the skimmer.

Minimum level function
• Automatically switches off the pump if the water level is too low
• Ensures correct skimmer draught
• Prevents air from entering the system, avoiding cavitation, loss of flow and possible pump damage

Operating level function (level maintenance)
• Keeps the water level in the skimmer within the optimal range
• Controls the optional automatic top-up solenoid valve
• Prevents overflows or irregular levels caused by evaporation, leaks or operating variations in the system

The sensor thus becomes a complete device for the functional management and protection of the skimmer system.

Plant flooding detection
Installed in technical pits or plant rooms, the sensor detects the presence of water and can activate safety lockouts, alarms or drainage systems.
